Salamat, UP!

As alumni of one of the foremost universities in the Philippines, we all feel privileged to carry the badge of a University of the Philippines graduate—or at a minimum, just feel lucky we made it through.

Regardless of where that diploma has taken us, we all feel a little better off for having it. Many of us feel grateful. Grateful for our careers, our families, our friends, the opportunities that brought us here… and also for all the good people who have helped us along the way.

As the season of generosity begins, let’s consider how fortunate we all are to be here—and consider sharing our good blessings with those who have the best chance of paying it forward to the next generation.

One UPV provides scholarships that cover some of the basic living expenses of very bright but financially disadvantaged students working to complete a degree from the University of the Philippines. The support includes textbooks, laptops, and other academic needs as necessary.

One UPV will also continue to provide assistance to remote learning students with subsidies for laptop purchases and network connectivity.
